The water at Mountain-Aire is great. It is a clean and soft water on a newly drilled well. The only reason it is currently not classified potable is we will need to submit for approval to govt and are in the middle of moving our water services and treatment facility to a new location. Once that work is done the paperwork will be filed and classified as “potable”
In the meantime we recommend guests bring their own bottled water or get some from local nearby spring which is a favorite with many travelers
Pets are welcome at our facility but there is specific rules that need to be followed. All rules and facility guidelines are found here on our website
All guests staying at Mountain-Aire must agree to the terms and conditions and the facility guidelines before coming.
NO- There is currently not a store or public showers/bathrooms at Mountain-Aire but the work to have one opened is currently in progress. The new upgrades which are planned for 2021 season include a store with fuel sales, cold beer and wine, ice, and other supplies. Additionally plans are also underway to open serviced washroom and shower facilities for guests and travelers (for a fee)
In the meantime there is showers and facilities at the cabins, Rocky Mountain Double Queen rooms, and select sites in throughout the campground. There is also porta potties and outhouses located throughout the campground.
At the present moment we only have Wi-Fi for the operation of our staff business. We are carefully looking into options which will allow us to provide our guests with WiFi capabilities. With lots of guests and such a remote location it is a challenge to provide this but we will hopefully have a solution soon.
We have a phone available to our guests that they can use for local calls to let their family know they are here. Please ask the caretakers to use this phone if necessary.
There is no cellular service at Mountain-Aire Facility so your mobile phone and devices will not work out here.

We work with a very detailed system to help organize and provide the best stay experience for our customers. With this there is a cost of doing business as well as credit card fees and expenses. This is the reason there is a $5 fee for each booking.
At Mountain-Aire there is a lot of buildings and a lot of work going on everywhere. The property was recently purchased in 2020 and is undergoing a long term multi-million dollar upgrade. This includes new buildings, cabins, store, pavilion, fuel sales, and much more. This project will take a few years to complete so during this time there will be equipment, fenced off areas, some trenching and more going on around the facility. The long term vision is a beautiful retreat for all to enjoy and experience. Please respect and stay out of marked off construction zones. During these upgrades we are still making sure to keep the views and experience the best it can be.
